Chapter 2.44 is the 52th chapter of Volume 2.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Erin starts wandering around after being abandoned in the wilderness by Toren. She runs into some wolves which she fights off with [Minotaur Punch]. Her noise then causes a bear to wake up. While trying to ward off the bear Erin activates her [Loud Voice] which attracts a nearby hunter, Jerad Riels.

A group of 13 goblins was sent by Garen to hunt down and kill Erin but they got lost.

Several hours later, Erin has reached the nearby city Celum. The [Guard] whom she nickname Fuzzylips makes her pay a fee for the bees and honey Erin had and recommends that she visits an [Alchemist] to sell the bees. She pays a young boy named Grev to lead her to an alchemist but he leads her to an alleyway to get mugged. However, the mugging doesn't go as planned as Erin beats up the muggers and makes Grev report himself to the Guards.

Wesle and other [Guards] shows up and and is stunned by Erin's competence. While the [Guards] deal with the muggers, he escorts Erin to Stitchworks an alchemy shop run by Octavia. Octavia tries to buy the bees and honey from Erin, who instead stubbornly asks questions and makes Octavia insecure enough that she offers better and better conditions and even a partnership as Erin mentions being interest in crafting mixtures.
