The Horns escape the trap room only to let another trap burn most of their loot.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
An injured Ceria wakes up from childhood memories to face the reality of the Rune of Insanity, only to become insane yet again. Meanwhile, the differently insane Ksmvr has torn Ceria's pants apart and fashioned a blindfold that he equips Ceria with.
An injured Ceria wakes up from her insane dreams again, but this time is blindfolded. She summons mud to cover the rune, and his interrupted in her work by Pisces (who is channeling his father and tries to beat her/train her in fencing). Yvlon (channeling her brother Ylawes) comes to her rescue and challenges Pisces to a duel. Ceria throws more mud at the rune, guided by Ksmvr; then knocks out Pisces who has beaten Yvlon, then subdues Yvlon.
Ksmvr and Ceria guard the others until Pisces wakes up, now sane again. He constructs a ladder out of bones, and creates some Undead under his command. They help with to bypass the cursed door, and the advenurers see ancient treasure. Unfortunately, Ceria and Pisces activate the final anti-intruder measure: A guardian golem that burns the treasure as the Horns vanquish it, destroying almost all of it. Yvlon's arms get badly burned as she makes the finishing stroke. At least, Pisces' skeleton minions can recover some badly burned items from the flames, while the Horns return to shelter in the pit of insanity.
