Background[edit | edit source]
Halflings were a race of shorter humanoids present on Baleros at some point in Innworld's history. When and why they had gone extinct is unknown, but they were known to Teriarch,[1] and they participated in the Land of the Dead's battle against the Seamwalkers.[2][3]
Some Halflings were enlarged and mutilated into weapons by Terandrians to use against the Drakes. Some of them still stalk the Crossroads of Izril in the present day.[4]
