Igawiz’s Jet, also known as the Idiot’s Jet,[1] and the Archmage’s Jet,[2] is an infamous sea current. It was located between Baleros and Izril.

Igawiz’s Jet is an extremely fast sea current that was made in antiquity by Archmage Igawiz who had been longsighted enough to actually permanently alter the ocean’s geography such that an incredibly powerful current shot boats across the current. In certain places, traveling over a hundred miles per hour is possible, with the flying surf described to be like arrows. Unenchanted boats with no Skills can cross the distance between Izril and Baleros in a fraction of the normal time when not traveling by Igawiz's Jet. However, due to risks such as monsters, Igawiz's Jet was mainly used by Couriers or daredevils.
After the new land had raised in Izril, which altered the sea currents, it was confirmed that Igawiz’s Jet to have vanished or changed where it was.[3]

- Seve-Alrelious has a record of crossing the distance between Baleros and Izril in only 2 days by using Igawiz’s Jet.[1]
- At high speeds, it is possible the wind can crack a boat's sails if it was moving slower than the boat.
