Kemel was a high-level Alchemist capably of making Potions of Regeneration. He lived during the Creler Wars era.
Background
During the Creler Wars era, Kemel made Potions of Regeneration that were guaranteed to not be halted by Creler poison, to save lives before the mass-antidote to the their poison was developed.[1]
Chronology
One of his Potions of Regeneration would end up being owned by the Emera Drake Family of Salazsar, as their family heirloom artifact. Lord Ilvriss Gemscale would forcible buy it from them, and send it to The Wandering Inn to be used by Erin's friends to attempt to resurrect her.[2]
When it finally arrives, Pawn would ask if Hectval’s poison would affect the healing, to which Ilvriss' [Safeguard Representative] Melis would assure that it would not as it is a Kemel-type potion. When asked about it, Octavia would give a brief summery about how Alchemist Kemel made Potions of Regeneration during the Creler Wars to save lives before the mass-antidote to their poison was developed.[1]
