On Earth, Lamont had worked as a deckhand since he was sixteen. After being transported to Innworld, Lamont worked as a [Sailor] for five months.[1] He crewed in a ship before being found and taken to Wistram.[2] At one point, he tried to escape Wistram by hitching a ride with a ship. Unfortunately, when the ship was ten miles out, five [Mages] teleported onto the decks and blew up the sails before forcing the [Captain] to turn back.[3]

- Originally, Lamont was on the Illuminary after escaping Wistram in Chapter 8.65, though after the release of Interlude – Singing Ships, Chapter 8.65 was retroactively changed, replacing him with Erik Muller.
