He and Vendyne meet up with Salkis at a bar in Pallass for the intelligence she has acquired of Numbtongue. Lesorel taunts Salkis by announcing that he's going on another raid which angers her as she hasn't gone to one in months, she then gets reminded by Vendyne to do her job or else as the two of them leave.[1]
