After Jelaqua embarrassed Anamariss at the orphanage, she requested Mort and his gang, the Flameblades, to pull a robbery on the Selphid. The job went awry when [General] Shirka appeared before they could do more than just caving in the head of the body Jelaqua was using. Him and the other gang members were about to enact revenge on Anama for the faulty information she provided but were summarily beat down by Jelaqua who followed them back to their hideout.[1]
