Prince Ruis is a Prince of the Kingdom of Nadel in Terandria.[1]

Ruis is considered to be highly loyal to Nadel and has no apparent ambitions.[1]

Prince Ruis is third in line for the throne of Nadel and has one son. He serves as a kind of royal diplomat for the royal family and organizes/oversees formal events.[1]

Prince Ruis host a ball that the Calanfer Princesses; Shardele, Ailef, and Seraphel attend. The Princesses are there to try to raise support from Nadel to help the Dawn Concordat fight Ailendamus. After welcoming them to the ball, Prince Ruis takes Shardele around the ball and makes introductions.[1]
Later in the evening Lord Bel and Prince Ruis attempt to speak to Lord Pulcre, however they end up drawn into watching Lord Pulcre's amd Princess Seraphel's discussion of the war.[1]
