Shallel Byres is Lord Yitton's wife and the mother of Ysara, Ylawes and Yvlon.

She has amber hair and ink-stained fingers.[1]
Personality[edit | edit source]
She has shown to be made of stern stuff, because she doesn't show any fear at an Antinium open mandibles and just smiles back at them.[1]
Background[edit | edit source]
Shallel was born in Terandria, to a minor Noble House. She would become the Guildmistress of the Scrivener’s Guild before she meets Yitton. She would eventually leave her Guildmistress duty to marring him, and move with him to Izril, were they form a family with 3 children.[1]
Chronology[edit | edit source]
She and her husband, Yitton, were at their home when they were contacted by their son, Ylawes, to tell them about Yvlon becoming Gold-rank, obtaining the [Silversteel Armsmistress] Class, and that her arms had changed and healed after they were severally injured.
Later that day, they heard from the villagers that their daughter, Yvlon and her new team had just arrived. She, Yitton and the rest of the villagers would go to welcome them, and there, after some greeting, she reveals to her daughter that Ylawes had told them everything about her. She then pinched the tip of Yvlon’s glove and pulled to reveal to everyone present her new silver-flesh hands. Upon seeing them she hugged her daughter fiercely, and then pinched Yvlon’s ear and pulled to drag her home to talk and catch up on everything.[1]
