Chapter 6.15 K

Yisame Beziin is a String Woman and the Queen of Nerrhavia's Fallen.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Her body is sewn with Kisquiel Silk which gives her a glorious, bronzed[1] to light brown skin, which is softer than it should have been possible, and flawless flowing black hair. Her eyes spark like brilliant emeralds, and her features are perfect down to the line of her nose, to her lips. She also moves like she is dancing at every moment, and a radiant aura.[2]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Yisame is shown to be a proud and arrogant woman who is extremely cunning. However, this is shown to be mostly a facade to keep up with court appearances. Although she is well-versed in navigating through court politics, she secretly dislikes being a [Queen] and often feels trapped by the position. Instead, her true passion lies with reading, which is indicative by the fact that the levels in her [Reader] class is higher than that of her [Queen] class. She is a fan of adventurer drama and romance novels, and often dreams of experiencing a story like the ones she reads. Yisame can be extremely critical of other people's writings, to the point of sending them angry letters every week.[3]

Quotes[edit | edit source]

  • (To Orjin) “I will consider it. But I have come far to speak only of one man. All else is paltry. You may go. Pomle has nothing I wish of you.”
  • (To Femithain) “I did not come here to discuss that…one. I only care for the King of Destruction’s letter.”
  • (To herself) “I should not be more powerful than stories.”
  • (Thoughts at Desulte) Unless you give me a book, go drown yourself in the pool
  • (To Chaldion) “No secrets lie buried forever, [Strategist]. Tyrants die, even if immortal, even if we must claw and tear them from their thrones, and kill them a thousand times. This is the very truth my kingdom was founded on. So speak your truth. Or else Nerrhavia’s hordes will pry it out. Not as invaders, but because we were invited by the rulers of this land. Just so as we march shoulder to shoulder with the House of Minos, Dullahans, and Humans.”
  • (To everyone) “Nerrhavia’s Fallen will take Prince Zenol Isphel’s word on the weight of his rank and status. On the weight of a Human, a team that dared to stride into a death no other has returned from. I declare Yvlon Byres a guest of the crown and free her of her imprisonment. This is the stuff of stories. Go, Prince Zenol Isphel. Quarein shall abide by the blood spilled, and I say it was done well. Go, Yvlon Byres. Stay one day in the capital. Then go—seek your team. No less than Nerrhavia’s Fallen’s armies shall reunite the Horns of Hammerad.”
  • (To Yvlon) “You will be my hero. For I have met you, and I admire you all the more because of what I know. I hope you will continue to inspire me—and those like me.”
