Chapter 7.39 A

Wrymvr, also known as Wrymvr the Deathless, is a Centenium and the Prognugator of the Twisted Hive.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Wrymvr's body is far larger than most Antinium.[1] He resembles an Elder Creler, having been based on them when created. His body is also based on Dragons.[2] His physical appearance differs from before he arrived in Izril. Wrymvr is the only living Centenium unable to speak physically and must communicate solely through the True Antinium's mind link.[3]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Wrymvr has been described as unstable, unchanging, rude, and violent. He does not show mercy, even to other Antinium.[3] However, much of that is by virtue of his role as a protector and the last line of defence as well as being part of the greatest offensives led by the Antinium.[4] In his private telepathic talks with the Twisted Queen and Klbkch the Slayer, he is quite rational, contrary to his frightening visage projected by his appearance and achievements.[3] He is blunt and straightforward in his manner of speaking, reflecting his mindset when it comes to achieving an objective (usually with destruction and mayhem). He has a humorous side and enjoys mocking Klbkch.

Background[edit | edit source]

Wrymvr is the only Centenium to have never died. His nature is to endure. He survived the First Queen's attack on the Slumbering Demigod of Rhir, which had claimed the lives of her and the other Centiniums present. During the journey to Izril from Rhir, he was able to survive the depths of the sea when no other Centenium had.[3]

During the Second Antinium War, Wrymvr was released from his role as protector of the Grand Queen to lead the Antinium armies. Despite being hunted by multiple Drake armies, he fought behind their lines and actively hunted down Drake commanders.[4] He also wiped out several Drake settlements, one of which he first encountered Saliss Oliwing.[5]

When the Goblin King's armies joined the war and destroyed Antinium armies, Wrymvr was sent against the Goblins. He slew a Goblin Lord in personal combat.[6]

History[edit | edit source]

Wrymvr is one of the oldest Centenium created.[3]

  • (To Anand) “Ships. You must build. Duty. You—Anand. Strategist. Build them. Float. Improvement.
  • (To Klbkch) “Klbkch. Klbkch. Your Anand is starting to irritate me.
  • (To Anand) “No. Strategist Anand—Wrymvr, I, will do anything for Antinium to survive. Anything. To save Antinium—anything. What will Strategist Anand require for similar resolve?
