Appearance
When equipped, it swirls with darkness until it settles into a nice gray color.[1]
Chronology
Lyonette's Cloak
Lyonette ran away from home with many arifacts and magical items including the Cloak of Balshadow until she ended up in the Wandering Inn. These items were all nearly out of magical power by the time she made it to Liscor and were soon confiscated.
Months later, once outstanding bounties and damages were paid, Lyonette had the items returned to her. She took them to Oteslia with her to help find a cure for Erin. After spending a while in Oteslia and hearing of other dangers, Lyonette lent these items once more to Rafaema so that she could find and awaken Teriarch.[2]
