Fals Lenestre is one of the most influential Runners in the Human cities north of Liscor and the local Guildmasters listen to him.
Appearance
He has blonde hair, long legs, and tanned skin. He usually wears red clothing that are of better-quality compared to the ones of the other runners in his guild. He also carries two daggers that are placed at his belt.[1]
Personality
Fals is social and easygoing and a smooth talker, something that he often uses to appeal to the team sense of [Runners] around him. While influential that way, he has a realistic outlook at the world and doesn't pursue any wild dreams beyond what can be reasonably achieved.
Background
Fals became a runner at the age of 7 and seems to run mostly in the area around and north of Celum which includes Wales, Remendia and Ocre. He also does make the odd delivery south however, including Liscor.
He was the fastest [Runner] in the area of Celum before Ryoka came and Persua got [Double Step]. He has been active as a [Runner] for around 16 years.[2]
Chronology
Ryoka found his attitude of holding the Runner's Guild together somewhat sinister and antagonized him much despite him trying to include her into the Runner community. While Fals disapproved of Persua shoving Ryoka under a cart, he didn't take much action against Persua. He tried to placate Lady Magnolia by assigning all her deliveries to Ryoka and forbidding her to do any other tasks; but Ryoka bucked against this rule in fear of Magnolia.
Ryoka later concluded that he seemed like a nice guy... but she still didn't like him "doing his charming thing". After Garia was attacked by Bandits, Fals was quick to gift her a spare wand of [Slow] that she should use if it occured again.[3] When Ryoka met him again after her run to Az’kerash, she regretted to have seen him as the bad guy - and Fals confessed to her that Ryoka had been right all along about Persua's character.[4]
