Gaiil-Drome, also known as the forest nation or the kingdom of the forests, is a kingdom in Terandria, currently ruled by Solen Wildheart. It is part of the Dawn Concordat, an alliance with the kingdoms of Kaliv and Calanfer.[1]

It is a realm notable for its forests and large half-elf populations. There are human inhabitants as well that live in uneasy peace with the Half-Elves within its borders.[2] Due to Gaiil-Drome having a large half-Elf population and the half-Elven villages, it was considered the safest locations in times of war to the whole Dawn Concordat alliance. Pheislant was one of the few nations that could attack from the west.[1]
The kingdom sells expensive fruits and relies on Calanfer to manipulate the markets to keep the fruit expensive which enriches both nations.[3]
Military Strength[edit | edit source]
With its notable half-Elf population, Gaiil-Drome's military is focused towards archery and [Rangers]. It can field twelve thousand dedicated archers, and [Forest Knights] in fewer numbers.[1]
Geography[edit | edit source]
Neighboring or nearby kingdoms include Kaliv to the north, Calanfer to the south, Pheislant to the west and Ailendamus to the east. The latter is a powerful nation, three times as large as the former three allied kingdoms.[2][1]
History[edit | edit source]
28 years before the events of Volume 6, the war of Petril’s Folly had set Kaliv, Calanfer, and Gaiil-Drome against Ailendamus and six other nations. The three allied kingdoms were able then to survive that war.[2]
