Gloriam the Invincible is a Selphid and one of the leaders in the Forgotten Wing Company.

Appearance

Originally they were "famously large" for a Selphid, which allowed them to move a Centaur's body by themselves. Affected by the Wasting, they are slowly losing parts of their body.

Personality

Gloriam is strong-willed, being able to manifest a powerful defensive aura that can withstand catapult rocks.

Background

Gloriam is an old Selphid, old enough to have met the previous Blighted King. They survived a battle against Velan. At some point during their career serving in the Forgotten Wing Company, they were infected with the Wasting.

Chronology

Volume 8

Per Perorn's and Foliana's orders, Gloriam was sent to defend a mithril mine against a force from the Iron Vanguard. As their illness was a secret, they inhabited the head and torso of a Centaur's corpse, while an assistant Selphid piloted the limbs.
