Igawiz was an ancient Archmage and a contemporary to Archmage Valmira, he is most infamously known for the creation of Igawiz’s Jet.

Living in the era after the Creler Wars, he permanently altered the ocean's geography creating a jet of ocean that powerfully shot ships across the current between Izril and Baleros which was called Igawiz's Jet, too powerfully in fact that the winds can damage the vessel itself.[1]
