Loquea Dree is a Garuda clan of Chandrar. Known as the Executioners of the Garuda, they were former vassals of the King of Destruction.
Overview[edit | edit source]
After Flos destroyed the Black Judgement during his rise to power, he charged Loquea Dree in order to police their own kind and to prevent raiding and infighting by the clans. Unlike the Black Judgement, Loquea Dree would have nuance: they were to punish great crimes, not small ones. This has led to them having a terrifying reputation among other Garudas.
They have a fearsome reputation as executioners, but they prefer to see themselves as protectors of Garuda tribes, destroying threats like criminals, monsters, and enemies of the Garuda. As such, they strive to be liked by the other clans.
Members of the Loquea Dree clan look physically different from their kin, being taller, longer, and with curved serrated beaks. They have a black plumage, and resemble giant crows in appearance.[1]
Strength[edit | edit source]
The Loquea Dree are excellent arial combatants, as they are meant to primarily fight other Garudas. They are stronger fliers than other Garudas. They are lethal against ground forces as well.
Their weapon of choice is the war scythe, with which they are very proficient and pairs well with their longer reach. Each scythe blade was enchanted by a master [Enchanter], and so are the shafts with a separate protection enchantment. They also use those scythes to judge individuals, the blades changing color in response to the wrongdoings and virtues of the person. These were commissioned by Flos while he was a prominent power in Chandrar.[1]
They fight using a style taken from ancient warriors who used similar weapons, and adapted it for arial combat, called moreit and jakka. They respectively correspond to threat and attack. The scythe acts as a threat with its placement as the opponent moves, and must be accounted for or it will kill, and then the Loquea Dree attacks.[2]

Chronology[edit | edit source]
When Flos awoke, the Loquea Dree did not rejoin him, as he had broken faith with them, and could not give them what they currently desired.
The Loquea Dree came to the aid of Nsiia against Garuda raiders. They tested Ksmvr to make sure he was not a harbinger of a future Antinium invasion, and then followed him on his journey, hoping that he could help improve their image, while also being interested in the [Paladin's] sword he carried.[1]
