Melika Blackwing is the wife of Wall Lord Werdin Blackwing from Pallass and the step-mother of Salkis Blackwing.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
She has a colorful yellow plumage with bright red feathers on her wings, and dyed green and blue feathers around her head.[1] She appears stunningly beautiful, thanks to her Skills and illusions.
Personality[edit | edit source]
She gives off the air of being polite and affable, as befits her class. Numbtongue found her to be friendly and smart, and she wishes to connect with her step-daughter.
Background[edit | edit source]
Melika comes from Baleros and married Werdin after he scandalously divorced from his first wife - so she is not the mother of Salkis Blackwing, his Oldblood daughter. Her role as his wife is considered secure, for the next decade at least.[2] She remodelled the Blackwing appartment to be more Garuda-accessible, incorporate Garuda culture, and an Oteslian-modern style with many plants. Notably, she's had a mango tree planted, and donates the fruits to needy people in Pallass on a weekly basis.[3]
