Nomads of the Sky

From The Wandering Inn Wiki

The Nomads of the Sky is a colony of half-Giants in Chandrar, the largest that still exists, and one of the King of Destruction's vassals.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Nomads number in the hundreds, the tallest reaching twenty feet in height and the smallest nine feet. Most of them are not warriors, but [Shepherds], [Nomads], and other classes suited for travel. They herd large breeds of animals, such as sheep that are three or four times larger than normal.[1]

Unlike solitary half-Giants who practice gentleness to mingle with smallfolk and not incur their wrath, the Nomads walk and act with pride, not carelessly, but not carefully. They walk where they please, and smallfolk must be mindful of them instead.[1]

Strength[edit | edit source]

The Nomads can field at least twenty warriors.[2] Only a handful are needed to take on armies. Each half-Giant can outrun horses, has skin that can stop steel, and can wipe out rows of soldiers with one swing or use of Skills.[3]
