First Appearance |
Xesci is a Drake [Courtesan] working in Salazsar.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Her real appearance was eaten by her class, and she has forgotten what she initially looked like. As such, she has no definite appearance and frequently changes features, faces, and even her species.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Her personality and behaviour is influenced on the person she is currently taking the form of.[1] She tends to take the form of the "plain knitting-Drake" (Belavierr) most of the time. She claims this gives her increased intelligence and ability to scheme at the cost of acting more ruthless and detached.[2]
Background[edit | edit source]
She was born in the northern part of Izril. There she would learn how to be a courtesan from Human women, and become part of the Sisters of Chell’s business, were in exchange for paying some fees they protected her in her courtesan business. She used to work in Invrisil before Magnolia chased out most of the gang from the city.[3]
She would eventually leave to find her people down south, traveling from city to city, while keeping working as a courtesan as a job. She would travel and stay to all sort of places, like Pallass, Zeres were she only stayed for a year, until finally stopping to Salazsar were she consider the best for her courtesan business. There she start working at The Drake's Pearl, until she has earn and saved up enough to retire, and then go settle somewhere back in the north.
At some point in her past she would met and talk with a strange but completely ordinary, plain Drake woman who knits like a genius. After this encounter Xesci would start to change into this plain Drake form for because she was so un-sexual.[1] Unbeknown to her that plain Drake woman was in reality a Cloth Drake-Golem manipulated by Belavierr herself.[4]

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Classes/Levels:[edit | edit source]
- [Courtesan of Reflected Facades] Lv. 50[5]
- Derived from [Courtesan of Changes]
Skills:[edit | edit source]
- [???] = Allows the User to change their form to someone either the User or the person this Skill is used on to look into, to anyone they had met, even if they are of a different species like Drakes and Gnolls. The form of the person the User change into look exactly like they are remembered down to every line, inch, voice, to even parts they had started to forget, realized in perfect detail. Even to what they remember them wearing like armor, although they probably not as strong as the actual original armor, nor with any enchanted the cloths original had. These cloths disappears if taken off. At first the User can alter their height and become anyone within an inch of their original height, but as the Skill becomes stronger they can alter their height to two feet higher. Once the User change to someone, they will not be able to change to another for a while. The User personality and mannerisms are affected as well, becoming closer to the person the User is currently taking the form of. At Low-Level the User is good at mimicking and acting like them, but at High-Level the User become what that person is good at, like knitting, sex itself, manipulating others, and any other native abilities they have, but not their Skills. This personality mimicking has the side effect of influencing the User personality depending on the personalities of the people have, which could make the User overly timid, or aggressive, or worse. This Skill also allows the User to look into a person to see the faces of all the people this person has, or ever had, sexual interest and desire towards, like the one they in love with, to ones they have ever considered, to even others they themselves had not realized they were attracted to.[1] This effect does not work on Dragons.[2]

Quotes[edit | edit source]
- To Ilvriss:
- “I’m sorry, Wall Lord. I didn’t think you’d be too interested in me.”
- “Most people are. There is nothing wrong with it. But Wall Lord…I am sure you don’t want me. In that, your friend Brilm was the most wrong.”
- “It is not. But I see how I’ve stabbed myself in the leg. Damn. This is why I should watch myself. I’m so conniving when I knit—”
- “Curiosity. How did that strange woman put it? ‘Curiosity drives my customers to me. The rest is the truth of what I offer.’ I can see where this is going, Wall Lord. Very well. Since there’s no help for it…please don’t be alarmed. Or do. I…am going to show you something that might upset you.”
- “Wall Lord—this is why I am the most requested here. Also, why you don’t want me.”
- “Not for a while. Sorry. Also, not very sorry. You asked. I know the knitting Xesci was manipulating you—or doing it without realizing it even—but you did ask.”
- “I’m sorry for doing this. I like being the knitting Drake because she’s so…un-sexual. I thought it would help and look what happened. I met her once—she was a strange person. But she knits like a genius…”
- “I think I have to apologize to you, Wall Lord. I…acted in bad faith yesterday. I didn’t realize how manipulative the knitting-Drake was. She was a creepy bitch. Sorry. It’s the new body.”
- “You mean, would I continue working here? Wall Lord—it’s a job. Sometimes it’s enjoyable, sometimes not. But it’s not a passion. Especially if you’re the only expert in the room.”
