Chapter 3.22 L is the 25th chapter of Volume 3.

Lyonette takes Mrsha in, who accidentically creates Painted Antinium.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Pawn has brought soldiers to the inn in the hope of triggering some Individuality in them. The Antinium warriors frighten Selys who was supposed to take Mrsha back to Liscor with her. Lyonnette convinces Selys to leave the child to her and offers the Antinium ashfire bees. While she cooks, the Antinium set off to explore the landscape.
They run into a few snow golems and a small shields spider nest, which they obliterate. A soldier receives a minor injury leading Pawn to bring him back to the inn. As Mrsha and the soldier quietly interact, the Antinium patrol crushes various enemies.
Once they return to the inn for lunch, they discover the wounded soldier has accidentally been marked with paint by a playful Mrsha. Amazed, Pawn asks Lyonnette for all the paint she has and decorates the soldiers, which awakens them and they start to level. Pawn buys a massive amount of paint from Krshia.
Lyonnette plays a few games of chess with the Titan who wonders at his new opponent. In the South, several groups are on their journey to Liscor : Zel Shivertail and Wall Lord Ilvriss, an Antininum delegation, Venitra and Ijvani.
