Ielane du Marquin is the Queen of the Eternal Throne of Calanfer.

She is perfect in fashion and posture. Her skin is flawless. Her hair is dyed red,[1] fashioned into braids that run around her head into a bun at the back.[2]

In public, Ielane has perfect poise and makes no mistakes. She plays politics extremely well. She hides her hobbies and does what's needed to keep the kingdom running and prosperous.

In private, she's strict towards her children, having high expectations of their public behavior and their service towards Calanfer, and little warmth. She does not openly display her emotions and remains stoic. She has a habit of smoking.[2]

She was a [Baroness]'s daughter of Morein before her marriage to Reclis. Her family had gradually lost its wealth, forcing her to grow up learning to balance budgets, manage people and earn money through gambling. After she married Reclis, she helped him claim the throne of Calanfer.[1]
