Vetn is an infamous Gnoll [Thief] known as the ‘Thief of Clouds’.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
A long-legged, young Gnoll male, Vetn has a lean muscular physique. He restyles his appearance to disguise himself; eyewitnesses have described him to have "greyish fur often described as mixed with a forest brown, or a russet red tinge," while in his first apperance, he had a black fur complexion, covered in patches of color[1]
Personality[edit | edit source]
Daring and bold, Vetn likes to flaunt his thieving abilities and athleticism, having a preference for absconding stolen goods at high speed in broad daylight, such as when he nabbed several artifacts from the Meeting of Tribes, outrunning dozens of Plain's Eye Gnolls.[2] He is somewhat reserved in person, only being open around personal acquaintances like Tesy and Qwera; additionally, he is shown to be more relaxed in a Turnscale bar, laughing and flirting with the other members. Despite being rich, Vetn is stingy with his own money, preferring to steal or lean on others to pay, having once whined about spending five gold to pay for snacks.[3] However, he willingly donates large sums of gold coins to help fund Turnscale establishments.[4] Vetn is a strict pacifist, disliking the idea of spilling blood.[5] Despite being cowardly at some times, overall he is a courageous individual, willing to risk his life to save Mrsha from the Plain's Eye Doomslayers, or to protect Tesy from Symphony's wrath. As a high-level [Thief], Vetn is well-versed in Izril's underworld politics.

Vetn's first notable thefts happened four years back. The famous incident that named him the Thief of Clouds occurred a year ago.[6]
