Asale of Zeres, is the Drake Admiral of the Supply. He is noted to be famous, or infamous, because he has no levels. Also, because he’d risen to one of the highest positions a Drake could hope to achieve despite that.[1]

He has orange irises that causes disconcerting when he really looked at someone in the eyes.[1]
Personality[edit | edit source]
Asale is stoic and level-headed. He is often unruffled by the antics of his colleague, the Sharkcaptain of Waves and was shown to be able to keep his cool under a physical manifestation of an aura. Asale is very efficient, given that he was able to rise to the post of Admiral of the Supply which is one of the most important jobs in Zeres. He hates heights.[1]

Volume 7[edit | edit source]
After the Occillium had gotten to Zeres were it was tested and it worked on the Yellow Rivers' infected, Asale would send a missive to Octavia telling her the results, and ask her to supply more of it.[2]
Volume 8[edit | edit source]
Asale allowed Magnolia Reinhart to arrive and depart from Zeres on his own initiative, without consulting the other Admirals or the Serpentine Matriarch, much to Sharkcaptain Femar's displeasure. He threatened to resign when the Matriarch considered prohibiting Magnolia from passing through. He accompanied Femar as he went to confront Magnolia.[1]
Asale was sent with Femar and Admiral of the Land Horsthe to besiege Oteslia. He made Femar release the Thronebearers when they were confronted by Magnolia, the First Gardener, multiple nobles from other cities, and multiple Named Adventurers.[3]
Zeres' army went to assault the Meeting of the Tribes. There, he saved Femar from Nerrhavia by cancelling her aura, but she then unleashed a summon upon him.[4]
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Asale does not possess any classes or levels. However, in exchange, he is able to resist auras and certain Skills via willpower alone.
Supply Administration[edit | edit source]
He is skilled enough to work as the quartermaster for the entire city of Zeres.[1]
Aura and Skill Resistance[edit | edit source]
He can withstand and brush away Aura attacks and materialization directed on himself without any problems.[1]
Negotiation[edit | edit source]
It was claimed by Nerul Gemscale that Asale could crush any number of high-level [Diplomats] by himself.[5]

- He was first mentioned by Saliss in Chapter 7.26
- In Chapter 7.49, Zeres' [Admiral of Supply] was mentioned. As Asale is classless, this was either an error or incorrect information on Octavia's part.
