Chapter 5.02 is the 3rd chapter of Volume 5 and Book 7, The Rains of Liscor.
tl;dr[edit | edit source]
Reiss moves past Invrisil. An assassination attempt on Takhatres fails. Zevara helps Erin with the door to Pallass.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
- Magnolia and Invrisil await the Goblin Lord. Reiss moves past the city.
- Khal is the ignorant participant of an assassination ambush on Takhatres, on the orders of the Emperor of Sands. The attack fails.
- The Emperor receives Khal’s report. The Emperor becomes the Empress and lets Khal accompany her on a task in the capital.
- Zevara inducts Erin in her scheme to resolve the door situation without giving in to Pallass’ demands. She and Pallass’ city watch captain backdate some documents so everything appears legal. There is, however, an actual fee to be paid.
