Volume 10[edit | edit source]

As chief diplomat of the United Nations Company and Talenqual, he is trying to establish good relations with the various species of Baleros. To that end he travels around, wears armor to be accepted by the Dullahans, tries to keep up with Centaurs on horseback and does favors for Lizardfolk.

He has acquired a keen sense for international relations and is the one who cautions the leadership of the United Nations Company in committing to anything cause before their meeting with Erin who is actually Nerry in disguise. He also has subordinates now. One of them, Asher, was meant to get info from Erin/Nerry during the event where she visited the company. After the event he sends Asher out to travel to find texts on Goblin Lords and looking into Jungle Tails.[2]

When Lyonette and the Wandering Inn people call in with the World's Eye Theatre, Ken is able to do a Calanferian bow to greet her. He also spots that Colfa is a vampire and points it out to Luan. He also had to toss his plans to approach Erribathe out because Erin challenged them and the other world powers after her in an interview in Talenqual.[3]
