Military Strength[edit | edit source]
The army is primarily made up of Drakes, Gnolls and Humans, as well as a generally separate Antinium division. As the army was rushed through training, they still lack cohesion and experience, and so there are classes like [Division Leader] instead of proper officer classes like [Commander]. Despite this, they could still win against three Drake cities thanks to Olesm and Belgrade's high levels, the Antinium, and the assistance of one company of Liscor's Mercenary Army.
The armored Antinium can outperform standard Drake heavy infantry, and possess faith-based classes, making this army the first and currently only one that can utilize Miracles, and giving them another source of healing. Counter-leveling from Manus' repeated assaults on them, several of them possess advanced classes. Among their archers are [Avengers] who gain power against the types of enemies that have killed many Antinium. Because of the high rate with which Antinium casualties can be replaced, the Antinium division does not lack manpower for long, even after costly engagements.
Belgrade's Ants is a potent mixed species sapper force thanks to his Skills and style of warfare, which emphasizes traps and fortifications along with guerrilla warfare. They are also exceptionally adept at using the fear generated by their tactics against their enemies. Forcing soldiers back by sheer reputation and using the frustration within commanders to manipulate them into kill zones. It is also notable as being the only military formation of non-Antinium being lead by an Antinium.
Glory Battalion of the Antinium Division maintains a brazier of Erin's flame of Glory, which they use to coat their weapons and reinvigorate their spirits in battle.
The Beriad is another Antinium division that is notably lead by Calruz. The Beriad takes many of its elements from Minotaur culture and primarily specializes as [Line Holders] & [Line Breakers]. Their heavy armor and heavier weapons acting as either an unbreakable shield or an unstoppable hammer.
Crab Battalion lead by Tersk is a force of Antinium most well known for their complete immunity towards Lightning magic. As well as magic resistance in general, the Battalion faced some of the worst casualties of the war thanks to Manus’s focus on them due to Tersk leading them. With not a single Antinium from the beginning of the conflict being alive when Manus pulled out after suffered egregious casualties during the conflict. Aside from magic resistance the battalion is well trained enough to pull off complex maneuvers during battle without skills. And is primarily experienced in ‘Golem Boxing’ tactics.
One final thing to note is that due to the presence of [Priests], [Clerics], and [Templars] within the army. Liscor’s Second Army has likely been less affected from the healing potion shortage, though it has not made them completely immune from it.
