Couriers are the highest rank a Runner from the Runner's Guild can reach. They can take on delivery requests of high urgency or danger, on a much larger scale than City Runners, usually continent-wide.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Couriers are often considered the Gold-rank equivalent of Runners, though Couriers are generally more famous than most Gold-rank teams, as the former are often seen in public.[1]
Equipment[edit | edit source]
Standard equipment for Couriers is a gem that is enchanted with a [Detect Truth] spell, which prevents them from being deceived by people untruthfully proclaiming to be the rightful receivers of their deliveries.[citation needed]

Certification[edit | edit source]
Prospective Couriers are decided by their achievements and whether they are at base Courier speed. They are tested by a Courier before receiving the rank.[2] One does not necessarily need to have speed Skills to earn the promotion. Runners who can prove they can make deliveries despite dangerous routes and obstacles can prove to become Couriers in their own right.[3]

- To become a Courier, one has to be at least level 30.
- There are so few who manage to become one; not even a hundred are known on the whole continent of Izril. It is considered rare for two Couriers to be certified in a year.[17]
- In the Future of an Alternate Reality, Herove Canidus would become a courier, and be the first Runner, or rather Courier, to join the ranks of the Order of Solstice.[18]
- In an Alternate Reality of What If Persua and Ryoka were friends, Alternate-Persua would become a Courier known as Persua the Untouchable.[18]
