Chapter 1.06 (Archived)

Klbkchhezeim, mainly known as Klbkch, is an Antinium who is the Revalantor of the Free Antinium Hive, as well as a Senior Guardsman of Liscor.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Pre-Regeneration (Worker Form)[edit | edit source]

He looked like all the other Worker Antinium, with antennae, large black bulbous eyes, a dark brown chitinous body, four arms and two long pincers coming out of its mouth. He has a pair of swords at his sides.[1]

Post-Regeneration[edit | edit source]

After his rebirth through the Rite of Anastases, Klbkch has a more humanoid form with only two arms and a slim, graceful body, not like a Worker’s or a Soldier’s,[2] that is slightly taller.[3] This form has been shown as superior to the Worker model.

Upgraded Form[edit | edit source]

After purposely suffering from heavy bodily harm, he had the Antinium Queens upgrade his form while healing to something close to his original body.

His shell is a shadowy dark grey, and his body is lean and humanoid, no longer with a rounded shell. His legs are distinctly articulated, with a natural curve to the thin legs and feet. His arms and upper torso look reinforced. His mandibles have a purplish tinge at the edges, and contain poison.[4]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Klbkch is a pragmatic and stern individual, placing the Antinium's well being above everyone else's—including his own and the [Queen's]. As part of Liscor's Guard, he is methodical and by the book, leading him to be well liked by Liscor and its inhabitants enough so that he was able to become Senior Guardsman, a difficult feat. He has a strong sense of duty and steadfast nature. While he protects his Hive with pride, Klbkch is derisive of the Izrilian Antinium Workers and Soldiers, considering them to be inferior to True Antinium. As relevantor of this hive, he is calculating in his actions, and is willing to cut any loose ends with brutal efficiency, shown when he sent hundreds of Antinium into the dungeon to fight to their deaths in order to cut down the Free Hive's population.

Background[edit | edit source]

Klbkch was the eighth centenium made by the First Grand Queen. He was created well before the Creler Wars. His job was to be independent and roam near the hives, slaying any monsters nearby hence his nickname of Klbkch the Slayer.[5] He was there when the Antinium completed the Trials of Levelling and gained the ability to level, remembering the time they built a tower for it. However, the System removed knowledge of the trials afterwards, and he no longer knows why they built the tower in the first place.[6]

As an ancient individual, Klbkch had many adventures on Rhir, including:

He once nearly drowned but was saved by shelled psychic beings. These beings would become the first allies of the Antinium.[5]

The first surface races he met were half-Elves and Halflings.

Soon after Galuc's creation, he went to search for a source of purified water for the Antinium, with Galuc and four other centinium, and a thousand of their finest warforms. They followed a stream that monsters fought over back to its source. On the way they encountered a tribe of semi-peaceful but territorial moss folk, theorized to be Moss Elementals, and went to negotiate a peace offering. The adventure ended by defiling the corpse of a Water Dragon for their water source.[7]

Another adventure was when he and Galuc roamed deep into the hidden and lost libraries and labs of Rhirian [Mages] & [Alchemists] long ago. Searching for magical crystals that could be used to fuel the development of Magic Antinium & acquire books for the First Queen. Resulting in Klbkch fighting Crystal Golems tougher than Mithril, swarms of evolved Silver fish which could cast magic in different ways compared to the other races, Magma elementals, and Wailing Pits. Klbkch would later destroy the libraries along with Derkvr the Glowing in order to stem the tide of Crelers.

In yet another adventure, he attempted to destroy an enchantment emitting a sonic-based attack by breaching a wall and flooding a tunnel. It failed and the sound killed hundreds of thousands of fish, until four Drowned People broke the enchantment, which was the first time Klbkch met that species.[6]

He met five Revenants before Fetohep, and personally killed three of them.[7]

He and Xrn travelled through a dimensional tunnel that was infested with moth eggs. She attempted to use [Lesser Teleport], which collapsed the dimension.[7]

Leaving Rhir[edit | edit source]

During the exodus of the Antinium at sea, Klbkch lost his original body and had to be placed in a Worker body. He died some times during the Antinium Wars on Izril. He was present for the siege on Liscor during the First Antinium War, when the humans of the north entered the conflict and saved the city. During the Second Antinium War he returned to Liscor, this time to save it from Az'kerash and the undead. Immediately after the battle, he and general Zel Shivertail had to be separated before they killed each other. He also initially objected to the peace treaty with the Drakes.[8]

Ten years ago, Klbkch and his Hive came to Liscor,[9] hoping to find a way to create Individuals and by extension stronger Antinium who might allow them to defeat their ancient enemy that forced them to flee from their home in Rhir. At one point, he started to work for the City Watch as a [Guardsman], intending to improve the image of the Antinium in the city. Despite the bad reputation the Antinium usually have, he became a very respectable member of the community. That is shown by him having managed to become a Senior Guardsmen,[10] which means that at least 400 people had to have voted for him.

Chronology[edit | edit source]

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]

Before he was reborn he was the fourth strongest Guardsman in Liscor [11] and also the fourth highest levelled.[12] In his original form on Rhir, he was level 44 in [Swordslayer] and level 26 in [Assassin].[5]

Despite him being rather low level during his life on Rhir, he was able to fight Crystal Golems, Wailing Pits, and other monstrosities with ease due to his body and blades. His body was able generate hits that could be felt and heard from at least a mile away through solid stone. And he could move hundreds of miles if not thousands in days at his fastest. Meaning his speed was likely low Mach levels.

He was also a master swordsman, inventing a sword school of his own. His mastery of the blade was so great that he often taught War Queens & other Centenium the art of the blade whenever he wasn’t fighting in the frontlines.

His body was also subject to change depending on the foe and battlefield. One of the many modifications the First Queen applied to him was creating a holding compartment inside his body which could store his two blades. Those could then be mentally activated and - through the use of two gas glands - would eject the swords out instantly, likely in a manner of miliseconds as necessary for fighting the enemies Klbkch would often face. This modification also had a major drawback as it was very easy to stop as if even slight damage happened to any piece then the swords were effectively stuck inside him.

His current body is much faster than his previous post-regeneration form, and better suited for his swordsmastery. It also possesses venomous mandibles and two hearts.[13]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • His full name was revealed in Chapter 1.24 (Archived).
  • Once in the past, when he hadn't even been a Prognugator and still a pure warrior, he was a Level 44 [Swordslayer] and a Level 26 [Assassin]. He hadn’t had any levels in either [Commander] or [Diplomat].[20]
  • The lost levels of [Swordslayer] and [Assassin] are the result of numerous deaths and revivals.
  • He was named Klbkch the Slayer, thanks to the skill [Continuous Cut], which he got at Level 40. With it he was able to strike down enemies with such speed that he could eradicate entire battalions by himself over the course of a battle.[16]
  • According to Tersk's Queen, Klbkch is the most stable and trustworthy of the three remaining Centenium.[21]
  • Unlike Xrn, Klb experienced many deaths during the First and Second Antinium Wars—and even before that.[22]
  • Zel killed two people Klbkch called friends (possibly 'Rehab' and 'Mellika' as mentioned by Xrn) during the Antinium Wars. None were able to rise again with the help of the Rite of Anastases, implying that they had less than 10 levels at that time.[23]
  • Klbkch fought longer for the Antinium than the Queen of the Flying Antinium had lived.[24]
  • It was implied that he lived for centuries in Ch 2.41 and confirmed in the Glossary. Klbkch himself said that he was alive thousands of years ago at the dawn of the antinium in Adventurers (Pt. 3).
  • He taught combat and warfare to numerous Centenium & Antinium War Queens He taught Mirrex and Xrn how to use a sword.
  • Klbkch could be considered an older brother to both Xrn & Wrymvr.
  • He was the 8th Centenium to be created. And when he was made two Centenium had already been permanently killed.
