Ser Thilowen is a Radiance Commander of the Thronebearers of Calanfer, and the leader of the [Knights] sent to accompany Princess Seraphel to Izril.

Thilowen was hand-picked by the king and queen to accompany the colonists to the New Lands and act as Seraphel's leash. She also suspected he had orders to bring back Lyonette.[1] During the Bloodtear Pirates attack on the Terandrian fleet, he led the Thronebearers in defense of the princess. In the final Night of Bloodtear, he sensed Prince Iradoren's planned attack on Rabbiteater, and deflected his blade. This caused a fight to ensue between Erribathe's fighters and Rabbiteater's allies.[2] He was was still on Throne's Will when it was headed to Baleros.
