Chapter 6.58 is the 65th chapter of Volume 6 and the 12th chapter of Book 13, The Empress of Beasts.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
At the Wandering Inn, the mages offer to take Erin to Wistram and to help her get back to Earth. Meanwhile, Palt the Centaur is talking to Zevara. The watch captain is less than thrilled that the Wistram team attacked a number of people without permission in her city. She realizes that Palt is casting magic on her and gets him to identify the names of the Horns of Hammerad and Selys Shivertail.
Back in the inn, the mages enjoy the ambiance and Erin's food. Erin grows increasingly worried about their presence and the Horns' absence. While waiting for their food, the mages notice an increasing emptiness in the inn. Erin confronts them about the missing Horns and attacks them. A fight erupts- the mages vs. Relc, Seborn, Moore, and Numbtongue. It quickly escalates once Seborn and Moore are incapacitated and Grimalkin gets involved.
Erin is taken hostage by Beza and Isceil, but that ends quickly once Bird arrives and begins shooting the mages.
Healing and demands for explanations ensue once the mages are all unconcious and the Horns are released from their prison. Wistram announces a bounty on Pisces.
