Interlude – The Tribes of Izril is the 82nd chapter of Volume 7 and the 7th chapter of Book 20.

Krshia speaks with Erin and Lyonette about leaving for the Meeting of Tribes.
Inkar reflects on the similarities between worlds, and how she came to be here, as the Longstalker's Fang Tribe marches toward the Meeting.
While meeting the Greenpaw Tribe, Inkar is shown part of and airplane that fell from the sky. The two tribe's decide to work together as allies at the Meeting of Tribes.
Two Drake Generals talk as their Army is halted, waiting for Gaarh Marsh, Khoteizetrough, Demas metal and other tribes to finish crossing paths.

Inkar travels towards the Meeting of Tribes with the Longstalker's Fang tribe. They meet up with the Greenpaw tribe, whose chieftain shows them half of a crashed commercial plane from Earth. Gaarh Marsh, Demas Metal, and Inknight tribes make a Drake army nervous as they march with their Earth Elemental to the Meeting. Lehra Ruinstrider, a Gnoll Named Adventurer, fights off the corrupt Wall Lord Dragial as she and her team heads for the Meeting. The Ekhtouch tribe (a eugenics-obsessed Gnoll tribe) meets up with the Longstalker's Fang and Greenpaw tribes. The Plain's Eye Chieftain and Shaman see Mrsha on the scrying orb, and send a group to kill her. Krshia tries to convince Lyonette to allow Mrsha to come to the Meeting of Tribes. The King of Destruction sends an envoy, conveying that he will give Gnolls who follow him Medain and the Claiven Earth once they are conquered. Erin plans to attend the Meeting of Tribes.
