Chapter 9.55 (Pt. 1) is the 79th chapter of Volume 9.

Liscor is preparing for Christmas, with gifts and decorations and the likes. But Erin, who was stressed over the Winter Solstice coming, actually forgot all about Christmas until she was reminded by Lyonette to prepare gifts. She panicked and asked practically everybody she knew for help with gifts, including some of the most powerful people in the world, which did not work out too well.
Seraphel also got to meet Lyonette again. However, she developed suspicions about Rabbiteater's race, after seeing Numbtongue and hearing about Badarrow being Rabbiteater's friend.
In the mean time, Kasigna created wisps – baleful reflections of the past – to haunt the living, which sparked chaos and international discussion, as they have not been observed in many years.
Tolveilouka arrives at Celum, going under the name Molouka.
